The Chalk Man is Back

The chalkman is back with some very good illusions. The chalkman is Julian Beever, an accomplished 3 dimensional concrete illusion artist. He amazes people with his sidewalk 3D chalk drawings.

Wikipedia describes him as a British chalk artist creating "chalk drawings on pavement surfaces since the 1990s...He uses a projection technique called anamorphosis to create the illusion of three dimensions when viewed from the correct angle."  Ready to take a dip?

Remember, these pictures are actually flat but better watch out for the crocodile anyway
An Interesting shark illusion.  The 3-D effect is striking.
Real people can merge with the drawings in a most realistic fashion... even sitting on the top edge of a waterfall.
The ultimate Beer float!
Hanging on for dear lile, it's another world just below the pavement. Don't lose your grip!

Without a doubt, the chalkman is one of the most talented illusionists of the art world.  More of his work is available in his 2010 book, 'Pavement Chalk Artist' He is renowned artists whose works have appeared around the world.
